As an elected official, I understand that if we want to compete for top talent, we must have a diverse and inclusive workplace.

I believe that diversity is our strength and that all Americans deserve fair and equal treatment. If our state wants to be competitive on a national and international level we must support all of our diverse communities. It’s time for LGBTQ+ inclusive non-discrimination practices in the workplace, in housing, and in public accommodations including restaurants and hotels.

It’s time to ensure equality for all employees, residents, and consumers. It’s the right thing to do. It’s good for business. It’s good for the business of our great state.
